PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów has officially confirmed that Grzegorz Łomacz, one of the most seasoned and respected setters in Polish volleyball, will remain with the club for the 2025/2026 season.
Łomacz has been a vital part of the Bełchatów team since joining in 2017, bringing with him years of top-level experience. Now entering his ninth season with the club, he continues to serve as team captain—a role he has held since 2020.
“Grzegorz is not only our most experienced athlete but also the tactical leader of the team. His presence is invaluable, and we are proud to have him continue with us,” stated Michał Bąkiewicz, President of KPS Skra Bełchatów S.A.
Throughout his time at Skra, Łomacz has played a central role in the team’s achievements, contributing to a Polish Championship title, a PlusLiga bronze, and two national Super Cups.
On the international stage, Łomacz has represented Poland since 2009. Among his many accomplishments, the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games stands out.
