Funvic Taubate have lost all of their matches against Sada Cruzeiro in the previous season, so they decided that the best way to finally break that awful streak is to take the players from their fierce rivals! They have already managed to sign Wallace de Souza and Éder Carbonera, while according to Bruno Voloch, Taubate have also tried to lure Filipe Augusto Faccion Ferraz to their squad.
Without success though…
This source writes that Filipe rejected a two-year contract from Taubate and decided to stay in Sada Cruzeiro for at least one more season.
