In a powerful performance, Osasco defeated Gerdau Minas 3 sets to 0 in the Brazilian Superliga playoff semifinals, booking their spot in the grand final. The match, played at Arena UniBH in Belo Horizonte, saw Osasco dominate with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, and 25-20.
Osasco looked confident and in control from start to finish. Tifanny Abreu was unstoppable, scoring 22 points, while Natália Zilio added 13 to seal the victory.
With this win, Osasco not only ended a seven-year wait to reach the Superliga final but also snapped Minas’ impressive streak of five consecutive final appearances. Now, Osasco moves on to face Sesi Bauru in a much-anticipated showdown.
