Sada Cruzeiro took a big step toward the Superliga Men’s Volleyball final by sweeping Praia Clube 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-16) in the semifinal opener.

Playing at home in Contagem, Cruzeiro controlled the game with strong performances from Wallace and Douglas Souza, both scoring 14 points. Praia struggled without opposite Franco Paese, sidelined by illness, and couldn’t keep up despite a strong blocking effort.
Cruzeiro now leads the best-of-three series and can secure a finals spot with a win on April 26 in Uberlândia. If Praia wins, the decider will be played April 29 in Contagem.
