They hammered Perugia in straight sets at playoff finals opening 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 27-25).
In the first two sets they didn’t have too many troubles but in the third away side gave really a strong resistance. Modena team managed somehow to take the control and to win this part of the game 27-25!
In front of 5054 fans at PalaPanini we saw a very good display of Brazilian duo Bruno Rezende and Lukas Saatkamp. The setter was selected for the MVP while middle blocker didn’t make a mistake in the attack (11/7). At the end, he scored 11 points, while the French receiver Earvin Ngapeth contributed with 14. The opposite Luca Vettori had 10.
On the other side, Serbian bomber Aleksandar Atanasijevic finished game with 15, while Denis Kaliberda had 10 points.
