The club announced this info on its official website, together with the farewell letter written by the Serbian middle blocker.

After 8 years of a great love, the day has come to sail separately on to the new adventures.

I will always have a special feeling for a club that took me by the hand when I was only 19 years old, giving me the opportunity to grow as a man and as a player. I have spent some of the best moments of my life here, winning seven trophies, playing the best games that a volleyball player can dream of and having that privilege to be the captain of Lube.

During all this time, Macerata and Civitanova have become mz second home where I have lived wonderful years and where I have always been welcomed with great warmth.

I would like to thank to all of the people connected with Lube, to my teammates, to my friends and especially to the fans that have supported me during all these years. Playing for you and wearing the white and red jersey has been an honor and a privilege.

Thank you with all my heart.
