The Italian champions ensured a superb setter for 2016/17 season – the Polish Katarzyna Skorupa. The 31-year-old player is back in Serie A1 after winning the title in 2015 with Pomì Casalmaggiore where she already cooperated with the coach Davide Mazzanti, who has extended the deal with Conegliano.

Skorupa has many trophies in her collection, among them four national titles – two in Azerbaijan and one both in Italy and Poland. Conegliano will be her third team in Italy (after Casalmaggiore and Zeta System Urbino Volley). Last season she performed in the Turkish giants Fenerbahçe Grundig İstanbul with these STATS.

Skorupa came to replace American Alisha Glass who has decided to take one-year break from club volleyball.
