“The training is progressing well. The boys are gradually getting the proper rhythm after a short rest period. We are just starting, the rest of the squad will come in on May 25. We must consider the various state of each player in training so that we can control the workload,” says the head coach Gianlorenzo Blengini.
Blengini also talked about the friendly matches versus Australia.
“All the players that have trained until today have done well. We are only at the beginning of a long journey that will lead us to the games. I think it’s too early to assume but it is clear that these two matches will help me evaluate which player worked harder at this early stage. There will be newcomers and they will be engaged in a separate training.”
