Repubblica.it and Gazzetta.it published that a player was tested positive on anabolic steroid Clostebol. They did not disclose the name of the player, but they did write that she is a member of the Italian women’s team that traveled to Rio!

The first info was that the player will immediately be sent home and that head coach Marco Bonitta will be forced to call some other player in the roster, however then the Italian Olympic Committee denied everything…

“There is no athlete in the Italian women’s national team who failed doping test,” stated Italian Olympic Committee for ANSA.

Gazetta.it reports that beach volleyball player has been tested positive on anabolic steroid, clostebol.

The rumour was wrong , It was a beacher ,Victoria Orsi Toth not a National Team player , as it said she used a cream normally sold with no need of prescription , still she had traces of it so even though she was tested three times in june and passed them with full colours, she’s been suspended Becky Perry has been called in to substitute her
