The Olympians
Ivan Zaytsev, Luciano De Cecco, Simone Buti, Emanuele Birarelli and Aaron Russell all arrived in Perugia this Monday and joined the preparations of their team. These 5 players got some more free days from their club, as all of them participated at the Rio Olympics.
Sir Safety Perugia will face their first 2016/17 challenge on September 24-25, when the Italian Supercup will take place. Recall that this will be the first time ever that 4 teams will participate in the Italian Supercup – Sir Safety Perugia, Modena Volley (host), Cucine Lube Civitanova and Diatec Trentino.
