Giannelli
Trentino reached an agreement for the contract extension with Simone Giannelli, this year’s best setter in the CEV Champions League, FIVB World League and FIVB Club World Championship. Giannelli will continue to wear the jersey of Trentino until 2020.
It is another crucial step for the future Serie A1 powerhouse after renewal with the coach Angelo Lorenzetti.
“I always felt like home in Trento and not just because I’m a few dozen kilometers from Bolzano, my hometown. I am very happy to have extended my contract and to be able to stay in this club that has always believed in me and continues to do so every day. Thank you all for the confidence, starting with the President, until the coaching and managerial staff, teammates and the fans. I’m convinced we can still grow a lot and I hope to make a contribution to the cause ever greater. Trentino is one of the best clubs in Italy and in the world. We will work together to pursue new great things,” said Giannelli.
