Lube vs. Trentino
The race for Scudetto continues with 7 games scheduled for Sunday evening. This is what you should know before the start of today’s schedule.
Lube – Trentino
It is definitely the biggest derby in Italy at the moment. The 1st placed Lube vs. the 2nd placed Trentino! Neither side has injury problems which is excellent news. What you should know about this match is that Lube is on a 15-win streak counting all competitions, while they still haven’t suffered any defeat in 2017!
This will be the 4th head to head clash between Lube and Trentino in this season! Lube triumphed in Italian Supercup and in Italian Cup, while Trentino were better in the 1st part of the season in Serie A1.
Milano – Sora
No injury problems.
Modena – Molfetta
Modena are definitely not in a good rhythm, but they managed to beat Monza in the last round after a big comeback and that win has definitely boosted the team confidence a bit. The home side does not have injury problems. On the other side, Molfetta will not be able to count on middle blocker Alberto Polo.
Padova – Latina
No injury problems.
Perugia – Monza
Perugia await this match in full roster, while Monza will probably be without outside-hitter Jacopo Botto who has problems with his shoulder.
Ravenna – Piacenza
Two players may miss the upcoming match, one per each side. Ravenna still do not know whether they will be able to count on setter Luca Spirito who is recovering from ankle injury. On the other side, Leonel Marshall has recovered from injury, but it is hard to believe that Piacenza head coach Giuliani will risk with putting the Cuban player immediately on court.
Vibo Valentia – Verona
No injury problems.
