Conegliano – Modena
They played in the same group of 2016/17 CEV Champions League, while now they will face each other in the battle for the valuable domestic trophy.
Imoco Volley Conegliano and Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena advanced to the Italian Cup finals which is scheduled for Sunday, 15:00 CET.
Imoco Volley Conegliano defeated Novara in the competition semifinals, while Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena outplayed Scandicci.
Neither of these two teams have won the Italian Cup before, but it must be mentioned that Imoco Volley Conegliano was founded in 2012, while Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena started competing last summer.
