Modena lost the Game 1 of the quarterfinals against Verona at home, so they do not have the home court advantage anymore in this series! As the quarterfinals format is best of 3, Modena will need to triumph in Verona in the next game to keep their title hopes alive.
“It was clearly a heavy defeat, but we must immediately raise our heads and think about the Game 2 in Verona. We must regroup, because everything is at stake in the following match,” said Modena coach Lorenzo Tubertini.
The Game 2 between Verona and Modena is scheduled for March 9.
