Eczacibasi
The reigning world champions tried to play without their star players. Eczacibasi were without Tijana Bošković and Thaisa Daher, while Tatiana Kosheleva started the match as a substitution. The outcome was that Eczacibasi lost the two sets against Seramiksan who is currently placed in the bottom part of the standings, while the Orange crew from Istanbul could have lost the match as well!
Eventually, Eczacinasi managed to win the game by outplaying their rivals 21:19 in the tie-break.
It is also important to mention that Seramiksan played this game without two major players – Meryem Boz and Jessica Tow-Arnett.
