As newly elected President of the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) Bruno Cattaneo stated a few days ago, Blengini enjoys his trust and only details separate young expert from signing new deal. But, as Gian Luca Pasini wrote in his Blog, the situation had complicated a bit and Blengini probably won’t extend with FIPAV!
The reason might be the lucrative new three-year contract that Blengini’s current club Cucine Lube Civitanova offered him, which FIPAV cannot level. FIPAV proposed Blengini a 2+2 deal which is actually a two-year contract. Another important thing is that new FIPAV establishment will no longer allow dual role. So, it is either Lube or Italian NT for Blengini. Italian federation will wait his answer until Monday…
