Modena – Lube
Probably not even the biggest optimists among Lube fans could not believe their eyes when they saw how their team was playing in the 1st leg of the Playoffs 6 stage. Lube dominated the court against none other than the reigning Italian champions Modena, and all of that on the away court!
The visitors were patient throughout the whole match, they were building their lead point by point and eventually scored a stunning straight sets win.
Tsvetan Sokolov was leading the troops of Lube with 17 points, while it is interesting to mention that the visitors managed to stop Modena’s star Earvin Ngapeth on just 8 points.
The rematch in Civitanova will be played on April 13.
