In some ways, today’s game was even more complicated than last Sunday’s, and in fact it’s been more difficult especially at the start when Modena was playing well. But we managed to contain their outside hitter almost from the start, that was one of the keys to the game. We did well to keep up with their rhythm and stay in the lead. It’s great but we have to keep going with the same spirit. Let’s enjoy this victory”.
Marco Molteni (Casa Modena): “We expected them to be at this level, but what we did not expect was to play that poorly. We wanted to play at a different level, at least be more present than that, but instead we only showed our weaknesses. We hoped to go at least at the tie-break, we couldn’t. The surprise was not so much Vibo but our disappointing performance”.
