Top seed Lube inflicted the first home defeat to No.2 Diatec Trentino in 23 matches this season (all competitions included) or, if you prefer, after more than a year!
After two hours and 37 minutes of a play, and in the tie-break, Lube broke the resistance of Trentino, partially 33-31, 22-25, 26-24, 28-30, 15-7, and took 2-0 lead in playoff finals.
Making 64% positive reception and thanks to 25 points from Osmany Juantorena (64% positive reception and 60% attack), Lube will have a chance to finish the series off on May 7, at home. In Trentino, Czech Jan Štokr collected 27 points.
