Stern, who has won the FIVB World Group 2 tournament with the national team of Slovenia, didn’t get too much space on the court as Verona had another option at his position – Mitar Djuric.
After departure of Djuric, there will be more space for this Slovenian player, who scored 92 points in a jersey of Verona last season.
“We are very happy to extend a contract with the Slovenian opposite, who is an important player in our project. In the next season, we will play in Europe which means larger number of games so we need more quality players,” says Calzedonia Verona sports director Andrea Marchesi.
