A 24-year-old Carly Wopat did not extend the contract with the Japanese side Toray Arrows who decided to sign her compatriot Kadie Rolfzen for the 2017/2018 season.
The middle blocker Wopat, who was awarded the Best Spiker of the V-League last season, is now a free agent and, according to some rumors, she is close to signing with Pesaro.
Wopat graduated the program in the human biology at the Stanford University where she competed for its volleyball team, being nominated for the AVCA First-Team All-America twice.
