Milano set off negotiations with a 35-year-old Puerto Rican National Team member Ángel Pérez, who earned the MVP award in the NORCECA Qualification Tournament for the 2018 FIVB World Championship that was recently held in Cuba.
Pérez, who experienced his last adventure abroad in the 2014/15 while playing with Rennes Volley 35 in France, started the season in the jersey of Gigantes de Adjuntas, in his home country. But, Milano will try to take the advantage of the fact that national championship in Puerto Rico has been suspended due to a damage that Hurricane Maria has left in the country.
