Volleyball reporter Gian Luca Pasini from “La Gazzetta dello Sport” shared some rumors on the transfers in Serie A1 that might be closed for the next season.

As he wrote on his blog, Cucine Lube Civitanova are ready to send their libero Jenia Grebennikov to Diatec Trentino for the 2018/19 and it seems that the French National Team member has already agreed to terms with the side coached by Angelo Lorenzetti.

At the same time, this will release a spot on the roster for a foreign player and Lube already made up their mind which player will fill it. Pasini claims that Italian titleholders have sent the offer to Srećko Lisinac, the Serbian middle blocker who competes for PGE Skra Bełchatów, Poland.

Fabio Balaso from Kioene Padova is, according to Pasini, the first choice of Lube officials to replace Grebennikov.

I think he could also stay. Lube may also sign a new opposite to replace Sokolov. If it’s an Italian player, Stankovic could get a spot in the starting lineup.

Re: @Karl if Civitanova gets Zaytsev to play opposite….everyone in Italy not named Lube should say goodbye to the scudetto.
