Today, in 13th round they celebrated the straight set win in away match against Ravenna while Lube Civitanova who were in the first place until today, suffered unexpected defeat from Castellana.
Russell 15 points, Atanasijevic 13 points and Zaytsev 10 points led Perugia against Ravenna. The interesting thing is that during the match Ravenna didn’t put one block.
In the match Castellana Grotte vs. Lube, both teams were equal but at the end, the domestic team won. Djalma Moreira was the top scorer of the winning team with 22 points followed by Georgios Tzioumakas who scored 17 points. On the other side Osmany Juantorena scored 24 points while three players from the starting line Sokolov, Sander and Stankovic didn’t play.
Azimut Modena without brothers Ngapeth suffered defeat from Kioene Padova. Nelli 23 points and Randazzo 21 points were the leaders of the winning team.
Index Sora finally scored the win. In their second win, they defeated Vibo Valentia 3-0. Of course, Dusan Petkovic (258 points in 12 matches), the second best scorer of the Serie A1, was the best scorer of the match with 19 points.
