Lube Civitanova defeated Vibo Valentia in four sets 3-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-10, 25-12). Osmany Juantorena was the best scorer of the game with 21 points.
Perugia have also recorded a victory in Serie A1, beating Padova away after being down after the first set, 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-15, 25-14). Aleksandar Atanasijevic and Ivan Zaytsev were the top scorers in Perugia with 16 points each, while Podrascanin added 15!
Fortunately for Modena’s fans, Earvin Ngapeth was on the court in their 3-0 win over Castellana 25-21, 25-18, 30-28! The Frenchman (15 points) and Giulio Sabbi (16) pushed the team to the victory.
Trentino have barely managed to defeat Milano, after making a huge comeback. They were trailing by 2-0, however, they somehow extended the game twice times and forced the game into the tie-break. In a super exciting fifth set, they prevailed over the rival to win the match 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-14, 15-13). Uros Kovacevic had a good display with 22 points, while in the home team Abdel – Aziz had 25 points.
