“Congratulations to Modena for the excellent performance. We came at this game not in a good condition for a number of reasons but this is part of a season and the game: let’s not forget that Modena played without two players who are very much important for them. I absolutely did not like that we lacked character, the team did not react when the game was bad and I expected more from the players in normal conditions: it is a pity to lose in front of such a packed gymnasium. This lack of character should not happen again. Modena did their best, having little to lose as the odds were on our side. Now we have to look ahead, on the challenge on Saturday, which is even more important than the one with Modena,” Lube coach Giampaolo Medei stated.
