Valentina Fiorin: “A victory that we were waiting for. In Pesaro we really gave our best and played very well from beginning to the end without a break. The team was neat and precise, we applied good game plan limiting their guns, especially the American Gibbemeyer and Moreno Pino. We fought well and our block and our defense lowered the percentages of the opponents. Now after two difficult weeks we can deal with recovery and training. We have to look one game at a time. The next game is at home, and I am convinced that we can repeat the good things we have done so far out.“
Diego Flisi: “It was perhaps the finest performance of the season. The girls were well-versed in the field, and applied perfectly what we prepared during the week. Pesaro is a good team, but we imposed our game. The teams are well balanced in this league, and away points are very important. We myst prepare carefully for the next game on Saturday at Palaverde.“
