Ekaterina Gamova remains faithful to her last statement concerning the Russian national team. In the last Dinamo Kazan's match she had 32 points. She played for Russia in a 3:2 defeaat against Brazil in the Olympics quarter-finals.

She said in today’s statement that she won’t play for Russia.
In her last match with Dinamo Kazan Gamova scored 32 points.
“I do not plan to play for the national team. This is my final decision“ Ekaterina Gamova said. She ended her representative career after the London Olympics. She played for Russia in the quarter-finals where they lost from Brazil 3:2.
