In the women’s Daido Life SV.League semifinals, both series were pushed to thrilling third-leg deciders after strong bounce-back performances on Saturday.
At Todoroki Arena, Saga Hisamitsu Springs dominated defending champions NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki with a clean 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-16) win. USA opposite Stephanie Samedy led the charge with 22 points, supported by Ayane Kitamado’s 10 points. Yoshino Sato scored 14 for NEC.
Meanwhile, Osaka Marvelous avenged Friday’s loss to Denso Airybees Koriyama by clinching a 3-1 (25-14, 21-25, 25-22, 25-15) victory at Panasonic Arena. Kotona Hayashi starred with 20 points at a 53% attack rate, while captain Mizuki Tanaka added 16. Denso’s Rosamaria Montibeller topped their side with 19 points.
