Osaka Bluteon and Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers strengthened their postseason pushes with doubleheader sweeps in Japan’s SV.League weekend action.

Bluteon secured two road wins over Wolfdogs Nagoya, rallying from two sets down to win in five before adding a four-set victory to consolidate second place.
Sakai also claimed back-to-back five-set wins against Tokyo Great Bears, keeping pressure on the teams above the playoff cutoff.
At the top, Suntory Sunbirds Osaka and JTEKT Stings Aichi split wins in a marquee series, while Hiroshima Thunders climbed the standings with two straight-set victories over Nagano Tridents.
Toray Arrows Shizuoka and Voreas Hokkaido shared wins in their doubleheader.
