Saori Kimura, Japanese women’s volleyball star, put an end to the speculations regarding her career.

The 30-year-old receiver wrote in her Blog that she will play one more season and then retire from professional volleyball.

“Recently, there was information from all sides that I will play beach volleyball or retire… It’s not likely to finish up after Rio Olympics! I would like here, in Toray Arrows, to be the last place in my volleyball life… My volleyball life has started from number 24 (number she has been wearing in youth volleyball). It will end with number 2 (current number in Toray),” Kimura wrote.
