JT Marvelous outplayed reigning champions and the second ranked Hisamitsu Springs 3-1 (27-29, 29-27, 25-18, 25-22) while Hitachi Rivale defeated Toray Arrows in tie-break (25-19, 20-25, 28-26, 19-25, 15-11).
Mizuki Tanaka with 29 points led her team against Hitsamitsu where Miyu Nagaoka was the best scorer with 23 points.
In Hitachi Watanabe scored 19 points while Saori Kimura didn’t have luck although she scored 23 points. Miya Sato was elected for the MVP of this match!
These are the first wins of Hitachi and JT in this phase of the competition.
