NEC Red Rockets celebrated important victory at the opening match of the Playoffs finals of the Japanese V-league for women.

They have defeated the titleholders Hisamitsu Springs 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-23, 20-18), and now they are one step closer to the trophy which they won two years before (2014/2015).

Today, NEC Red Rockets fought for each ball and we can say that the result show that these two teams are really deserved to play in the Finals.

Bulgarian attacker Emiliya Nikolova was too strong for the opponents. She scored 35 points (33 in attacks, 2 bl). In Hisamitsu Yuki Ishii ended match with 25 points (24 att, 1 bl).

The second game is scheduled for tomorrow.
