Japan men’s V.League: Edgar, Schmitt, and Kaziyski led their teams to new wins

Three out of four matches were played in the Japanese men’s V.league. All three were finished after three sets without any surprises.

Gavin Schmitt led Toray in the match against outsiders FC Tokyo, who is still without a win after eight rounds. 

JT Thunders crushed Osaka Sakai for the fifth win and Thomas Edgar was the leader with 26 points.In the last match of the day,

JTEKT of Matey Kaziyski defeated Suntory Sunbirds and now have 4-4.

Japanese men’s V.League:

Toray Arrows – FC Tokyo 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-22); Schmitt 16 – Yoshimoto 16 (1 ac, 1 bl), Pepic 12 (2 ac, 1 bl)

JT Thunders – Osaka Sakai 3-0 (26-24 25-19, 25-16); Edgar 26 (1 ac), Yamamoto 14 (1 ac) – Wallace 18 (1 bl, 1 ac)

JTEKT – Suntory Sunbirds 3-0 (26-24, 25-19, 25-21); Kaziyski 22 (3 bl), Hirchiro 18 (3 bl, 1 ac) – Escobar 17 (1 bl, 1 ac), Tatsuya 15.
