KB Stars vs. Jumbos
The KB Stars beat Incheon Korean Air Jambos VC in the fourth round of the V-League in straight sets to become the leaders in the rankings with a 3-1 record. For the first time in five games, the Portuguese international Alexandre Ferreira was not the best scorer in the KB Stars – it was the opposite Lee Kang-Won, who scored 22 points. The Slovenian Mitja Gasparini made 22 as well but for the losing side.
There is only one club with perfect record both in Men’s and Women’s tournament – it is Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate. They reached 4-0 by downing Seoul GS Caltex Kixx 3-0. The U.S. outside hitter Elizabeth Campbell topped Hyundai with 14 points, while Senegalese player Fatou Diouck collected 19 points for GS Caltex.
