PAC U23 W: Dominican Republic and Peru in semifinals

After Day 3 of the Pan American Cup for women U23, the Dominican Republic and hosts Peru secured their spots at the semifinals.

In the last round of the pool stage, Dominican Republic outplayed Colombia in straight sets while Peru defeated Cuba. The attacker Brenda Lobatón was the figure of the match tying the record of 35 points for Peru.

As the winners of their pools, they automatically moved to semifinals while MexicoChile and Cuba – Colombia will play the quarterfinals. 

Day 3

Chile – Guatemala 3-0 (25-14, 25-8, 25-19)

Costa Rica – Mexico 0-3 (17-25, 13-25, 13-25)

Colombia – Dominican Republic 0-3 (13-25, 13-25, 15-25)

Peru – Cuba 3-1 (25-22, 21-25, 25-20, 27-25)
