NORCECA W: Dominican Republic and United States in gold medal match

The Dominican Republic and the United States will play for the gold medal at the NORCECA Women's Continental Championships and Puerto Rico will face Canada in the bronze medal match. This will be the fourth match for the title between the Dominican Republic and the United States (2011, 2013, 2015). The US has won a gold medal on all three occasions.

United States – Canada 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-18) 

United States defeated Canada 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-18) in the first semifinal game. For USA, Kim Hill was the top scorer with 18 points, Karsta Lowe added 12 and Michelle Bartsch-Hackley 10 points. Marie-Alex Bélanger led Canada with 8 points scored. 


Dominican Republic – Puerto Rico 3-2 (19-25, 25-14, 26-24, 21-25, 15-8) 

The Dominican Republic will face the USA in the gold medal match after beating Puerto Rico in the semifinals 3-2 (19-25, 25-14, 26-24, 21-25, 15-8). For Dominican Republic, Brayelin Martinezwas was the best scorer with 22 points, Lisvel Eve added 16 and Jineiry Martinez 14 points. Diana Reyes led Puerto Rico with 16 points. 


Mexico – Costa Rica 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-17)  


Cuba – Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 (25- 18, 25-20, 25-9)

Canada – Puerto Rico

Cuba – Mexico

Costa Rica – Trinindad and Tobago
