Canada Set to Defend Title at Men’s Senior Pan American Volleyball Cup

Canada is ready to defend its title at the 17th Men’s Senior Pan American Volleyball Cup, taking place from July 14 to 21 in Santo Domingo at the “Professor Ricardo Gioriber Arias” Volleyball Palace.

In the previous edition, Canada claimed its first title in the competition’s history by defeating Brazil 3-1 in the final. Historically, Canada had lost the final match three times (2008, 2009, 2022). Chile secured its first-ever medal last year by winning the bronze against Mexico.

The tournament serves as a qualifier for the 2025 NORCECA Continental Championship, the 2025 Pan American Cup, and the 2027 Pan American Games. Ten teams are competing, split into two groups. Group winners advance to the semifinals, while second and third places compete in the quarterfinals.

Group A: Canada, Chile, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States
Group B: Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Peru, Dominican Republic
