The preliminary round of the 2025 NORCECA Women’s Final Six concluded with Mexico staging a comeback victory, the USA securing a flawless sweep, and Canada defeating Cuba.

Mexico overcame the Dominican Republic 3-1 (21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-23) to secure second place (4-1). Aime Topete (14) and Samantha Bricio (10) led the hosts, while Madeline Guillen scored a match-high 19 for the Dominicans.
The USA stayed unbeaten (5-0) after sweeping Puerto Rico 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-13). Samantha Francis and Claire Chaussee scored 12 each, with Paola Santiago (13) leading Puerto Rico.
Canada capped the night with a 3-2 reverse sweep over Cuba (14-25, 14-25, 27-25, 25-19, 15-11). Emma Boyd led all scorers with 19 points, while Sydney Grills added 14. Cuba’s Whitney James (16) was their top performer.
Semifinals are set: USA vs. Dominican Republic and Mexico vs. Puerto Rico, while Canada and Cuba will battle for fifth.
