Santana
She will get the award at the Annual Gala of the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee on December 17.
In 2017, Santana won the title of the French League. She also played the Pan American Cup (third place), the World Grand Prix (5th place), and NORCECA (2nd Place) where she finished as best scorer.
“I really don’t have the words and the only thing that comes to my mind is ‘what an honor”. It has been a real surprise. I feel so happy representing Puerto Rico, my family, my people. I am so grateful to the Federation, my team, but above all to my fans of Puerto Rico for their support and for being there for me day after day” said Santana who currently played of Il Bisonte in Italian Serie A1.
