According to volleyball.it, the Chinese league team who was penultimate in the 2018/19 regular season, brought in two big names of world volleyball.

The Russian superstar Tatyana Kosheleva has chosen Guangdong among several offers from Chinese clubs to continue her career in. The 2019/20 will be her fourth straight season abroad – on the third continent. A 30-year-old Russian outside hitter is coming to Guangdong with a huge experience which was sealed with a gold medal in the FIVB World Championship in 2010 and two gold medals in the CEV EuroVolley in 2013 and 2015 (MVP). Last season, Kosheleva competed for SESC RJ (Brazil) and Savino Del Bene Scandicci (Italy).

The other well-known women’s volleyball name coming to Guangdong is the Bulgarian Dobriana Rabadzhieva. Actually, she is returning to the Chinese club whose colors she defended last season before joining Fenerbahçe Opet (Turkey).
