Last weekend, Kulan sprained both of her hands and also got sick and was unable to show her full potential. She has returned to the rhythm with style! By tallying 30 points (51.9% attack), the Azerbaijani player pushed Toray Arrows to a 3-1 (20-25, 25-21, 33-31, 25-13) victory over the visiting Kurobe AquaFairies in Round 19 of the 2019/20 V.League Division 1 Women regular season.

Saitama Ageo Medics stood on the way of the 7-game winning streak of the leaders, JT Marvelous. Mostly thanks to the Croatian international Katarina Barun-Šušnjar (22 points), Ageo came back from 0-2 to 3-2 in the match valid for the 19th round. Despite the loss, in which the 2019 USA Volleyball Female Indoor Player of the Year Andrea Drews scored 37 points, the Marvelous remained leaders of the Star Conference, but also overall leaders, with 15-4 and 44 points.

The leading duo of the Premier Conference, Denso Airybees and Okayama Seagulls, extended its streak of victories. Both teams wrote down 5th success in a row.
