As iVolley Magazine reported, German opposite hitter Louisa Lippmann has embarked for Europe to join her national team that will play the continental Olympic qualification in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. This puts her club, Shanghai, in trouble because it will have to play Game 3 of the 2019/20 Super League playoff semifinals against Guangdong, tomorrow, without her.
The same source said the Chinese club wasn’t aware of this commitment, which would take away the most prolific player of the championship (285 points) during playoffs, when it registered her at the beginning of the season.

100% support Lippmann. Shanghai (club/administration)and the league had to know this was a possibility, just like every other league in the world who employs players vying for the Tokyo Qualifers.
Shanghai can’t blame her. Country first, just like Zhu Ting leaving Vakifbank.
Where’s Jordan Larson? She’s also in Shanghai team.
