The South Korean Women’s Volleyball top division side Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-Pass has changed a foreigner.

The Dodram V-League vice-champions Expressway announced that they have hired Cuban Dayami Sánchez. She came to replace American Taylor Simpson-Cook. The 25-year-old Sánchez can play as an outside hitter and opposite hitter and she came to the team from Seongnam from Hungarian side UTE. Sánchez was a member of the country’s national team between 2014 and 2016.

As for Simpson-Cook, according to Yonhap News Agency, she was sacked because she faked the injury forcing Expressway to play 9 out of the first 15 games in the competition without her, which resulted in falling to the penultimate position in the charts.
