The last official Korean titleholders, the Pink Spiders, will have a twin sister duo, also known as the “Super Twins“, in the roster for the next season. The Lee siblings, the most famous siblings of the country’s female volleyball, will play together in the same club for the first time in their professional careers.
The more prominent one, Lee Jae-Yeong, renewed the contract with the Incheon team for three more years. The outside hitter will earn 600 million wons (490,000 U.S. dollars) per season. After securing the MVP of the 2018/19 V-League, the Pink Spiders engaged her sister Lee Da-Yeong from Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate. The setter will earn 400 million wons (325,000 U.S. dollars) in each of the three seasons in the club.
Both siblings are members of the Korea National Team that secured a berth in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
