Nikola-Pekovic
Zalău reached an agreement with Serbian Nikola Peković, the gold medalist from the 2019 European Championship, for the next season.
The 30-year-old libero has so far played only in his home country and won the national championship twice, as well as the Cup and Super Cup once apiece – all with Vojvodina NS seme Novi Sad. With them, Peković won the 2015 CEV Challenge Cup. In the last two years, he wore the jersey of Partizan Belgrade.
