In a direct duel for the title in the last round of the Final Four in the neutral ground in Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima The Mall VC beat Diamond Food VC in the tie-break, partially 24-26, 25-20, 21-25, 34-32, and 15-13.

Prior to the encounter, Nakhon Ratchasima had 14 points (5-0), while their rivals had 12 points (4-1). This means that Nakhon Ratchasima needed to take two sets, while Diamond Food needed to win all three points, and were on a good way to achieve their goal as they had a 2-1 and as many as eight match balls in the fourth set.

An experienced outside hitter Wanchai Tabwises from the new titleholders (Air Force were the champions last season) was named MVP. This is the sixth title for Nakhon Ratchasima.

Generali Supreme Chonburi-E.Tech won the title in the women’s competition.
