The six-time Portuguese men’s volleyball Championship winners, Sporting Clube Portugal, hired a new libero.

The prospect libero Miguel Maia Sá is a reinforcement of Sporting for the 2020/21 season. The 20-year-old player arrived at the club from the Portuguese capital from Sporting Clube de Espinho.

In his new career challenge, the youngster will play alongside his uncle, the setter Miguel Maia, who’s the oldest active volleyball player in the world at the moment (49).
