The captain of the US women’s volleyball National Team, Jordan Larson, will stay in Shanghai.

Chinese media reported that American superstar Larson has renewed the contract with Shanghai for one more year. Thus, she’ll re-join German Louisa Lippmann, who also extended the deal with the Super League vice-champions. Both did it following the lift of the ban on the participation of foreign players in the top division in 2020/21 set by the Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA).

At the end of the next Super League, a 33-year-old Larson will return to her home country to become a part of the new Pro League. Recall that the outside hitter has delayed her retirement for one year to play in the Tokyo Olympics next year.
