Alekno-and-Castellani
The IRIVF narrowed down the number of candidates for the men’s national team head coach to two.
Initially, Daniel Castellani, Andrea Giani, Ferdinando De Giorgi, Lorenzo Bernardi, and Vladimir Alekno were the five candidates for the post. After the latest meeting of the governing body of volleyball in Iran, the joint agreement on Italian Castellani and Russian Alekno as the final two candidates was reached.
The Iran Men are without a head coach since parting ways with Montenegrin Igor Kolaković in March.
